Orbital Announce First New Album In Six Years

Orbital's first new album in six years is due out in September

Orbital have announced details of a new album, their first in six years, called Monsters Exist. Above, you can hear lead track ‘Tiny Foldable Cities.

Monsters Exist follows on from 2012’s Wonky and the brothers’ announcement that they would be retiring the project in 2014. They returned last year with a new track, ‘Kinetic 2017’.

"When you haven’t made an album in five years it just comes tumbling out," says Paul Hartnoll of the duo. "You don’t need to spell out who the monsters are. We’re not pointing our fingers at Donald Trump or Kim Jong-un. It’s clear who the monsters are. I’ve never liked preaching to people."

The album is due out on September 14 via ACP Recordings, and will be available in CD, vinyl and digital formats.
