Cafe Oto will play host to a special night of live music in a couple of weeks from now headlined by Ora Clementi, the duo of Canadian sound artist Crys Cole and Australian composer James Rushford.
The pair pry deep into liminal performance states looking at text and speech as subliminal thought processes taking in field recordings, electronics, various instruments and voice. Supporting on the night will be WIDT, the audiovisual collaboration of sisters Antonina Nowacka and Bogumila Piotrowska and Chicago musician Derek Baron who will play alongside guitar-playing experimental musician John Welsh.
