Following the recent announcement that Daniel Lopatin, aka Brooklyn synthesiser musician Oneohtrix Point Never, has signed to Warp to release his new record R Plus Seven, we’ve now got a taster of what we can expect – have a watch of the Takeshi Murata-directed video for ‘Problem Areas’ from the LP above.
Says Lopatin of the track: "I wanted to characterise a linear world with cracks in its edifice. One with a veneer of being breakable, but that instead just bends and stretches endlessly like rubber, preventing you from ever understanding its true properties. The proverbial ‘endless vista’, but with an end."
R Plus Seven is out on Warp Records on September 30.
