Oneohtrix Point Never has been enlisted to score a new film by the Safdie brothers.
Uncut Gems is the second film that the producer has provided original music for following on from 2017’s Good Time, which was also directed by Josh and Benny Safdie.
The film stars Adam Sandler and The Weeknd amongst others, and will premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival before getting a wider release on December 13. It’s described as "an electrifying crime thriller about Howard Ratner (Adam Sandler), a charismatic New York City jeweler always on the lookout for the next big score".
