Oneohtrix Point Never Announces New EP

Oneohtrix Point Never's new EP will feature three new songs as well as recent album track 'The Station'

Oneohtrix Point Never will release a new EP later this month led by ‘The Station’ from his latest album Age Of, as well as featuring three new tracks.

‘The Station’ was originally written for Usher and yesterday, the producer shared the demo version which was originally intended for the singer.

In addition to the lead track, the EP will feature two previously unreleased tracks as well as one which was previously only released in an alternative form. The track, called ‘Trance 1′, as Warp Records explains, "originally appeared in an edited arrangement as a tribute to The Voyager Spacecrafts’ Golden Records, which held sounds and images selected to portray the diversity of life and culture on Earth to be found by extraterrestrial life forms". You can hear that track above.

A vinyl EP version of the EP called We’ll Take It will also be released, featuring the three new tracks as well as ‘We’ll Take It’ from his latest album rather than ‘The Station’. Meanwhile, the producer is continuing to tour his MYRIAD live show around the world after debuting it in New York in May and bringing it to London’s Barbican earlier this month.
