Deftones Charity Launch Fundraising Raffle

Late Deftones bass player Chi Cheng's One Love For Chi charity to raffle off signed duffel bag filled with rare merchandise

One Love For Chi, the charity set up to help the Deftones’ former bassist Chi Cheng, who sadly passed away earlier this year after being severely injured in a car accident in 2008, is running a raffle, with all the money raised going to help Journey For Jessica, a charity supporting a friend who shared Cheng’s ward and also suffered a brain injury in an accident.

The prize is a duffel bag which the Deftones’ UK publicist Em Van Duyts took on tour for her #MYCANVASJOURNEY campaign, having it signed by a rafter of bands, including Deftones themselves, The Bronx, You Me At Six, letlive, The Ghost Inside, Gallows and Skindred. Not only that, but it’s filled with a shedload of goodies, among them a signed Deftones drum skin, their entire back catalogue on CD and VIP tickets to the Reading/Leeds festivals and the UK Vans Warped Tour.

To enter, head over to One Love For Chi’s website, donate £1/$1 or as much as you can afford and write ‘EmsBag’ in the donation box, and a winner will be selected on August 9.
