Diode & Rick Holland Set For London Show

Album launch for the duo's collaboration announced; download new remix below

Following the release of their collaborative debut album The King Krill, producer Old Man Diode and poet Rick Holland will be performing a launch party at The Macbeth in London on April 25.

The headline set will feature the guests that appear on the album – I Am Fya (who’ll also be playing a full set), Beth Rowley, Andrew Plummer, Chris James and Onallee, alongside support from Shylock, Itoa and special guest DJ Krust.

Ahead of that, the album’s title track, featuring Chris James, has been remixed by Garden Fest’s Niels Vermulen. The oceanic, eight-minute leviathan takes a while to kick into gear, building on smooth ambience as hushed vocals and a solid drum loop emerge, but as the track progresses, it becomes more difficult to ignore its enriching synth patterns – listen and download the results here:
