The first official trailer for Pavements, the forthcoming film on the band Pavement, has been shared online, alongside details of the movie’s cinema release.
Premieres of the Alex Ross Perry-directed film will take place in New York and Los Angeles on May 2 and 9, respectively, before a wider release in the US on June 6.
Pavements combines documentary, biopic and mockumentary elements, combining talking-heads interviews, archival footage and clips from the newly-acted biopic element, which is titled Range Life: A Pavement Story in its own right and sees American actor and musician Joe Keery take the lead role of Pavement frontman Stephen Malkmus.
