The second volume in DJ Sega Bodega’s trilogy of Radio Ghibli shows aired late last week on NTS and is now available to listen to online here.
The second show covers the soundtracks of Studio Ghibli films produced between 1994 and 2001, such as Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away and Pom Poko. The works featured in this instalment come from the likes of Joe Hisaishi, Akiko Yano, Yuji Nomi and more.
The episode follows on from the first instalment in the series which aired on NTS in January, marking three decades of the famed Japanese animation studio. The third volume is expected to cover the remaining years of Studio Ghibli films from 2002, and will air soon, again mixed by Sega Bodega. You can check out part one, covering 1986-1992, here.
