Next month, experimental rockers NLF3 are releasing their new EP, Three Dances, and we’ve got a first play. Mainstays of the French alternative scene, the band (who feature Fabrice Laureau of F/LOR, featured in David McKenna’s Rockfort column last year) specialise in largely instrumental, math-y rock that features African-influenced polyrhythms, kalimba, jazzy breakdowns and electronic flourishes. The EP also features a remix from the excellent French krautrock-influenced band Turzi.
Listen above and get hold of the EP on release on June 9 via Prohibited Records.
