Nkisi is launching a new series of records, called INITIATION.
Following on from the NON Worldwide co-founder’s 2019 debut album, 7 Directions, as well as a just-released tape on the Climate Of Fear label featuring a 2019 live performance of hers, INITIATION, Nkisi says, will explore "the hidden phantasmagorical properties of rhythm… a secret drum language only understood by the initiated." INITIATION will release INT001 on October 30, 2020.
