Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Announce New Album

Tracks from the album will be premiered the day before its release via cinema screenings

Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will release their 16th studio album this September.

The album, entitled Skeleton Tree follows on from 2013’s Push The Sky Away. Work on it begun in late 2014 in Brighton with further sessions following in France in autumn of last year. The first opportunity anyone will have to hear tracks from the album will be via cinema screenings of One More Time With Feeling, a film by Andrew Dominik, which will premiere on September 8.

The film, shot in black-and-white and colour, features tracks from the album and delves “into the tragic backdrop of the writing and recording of the album” featuring filmed performance from the Bad Seeds and narration from Cave. The album is out on September 9.
