The Quietus has never been massively convinced by The Decemberists, but we are rather impressed by their latest video, which you can watch here.
The video for ‘The Rake’s Song’ was made by St Martin’s College of Art Students (where Jarvis Cocker famously met the art student who would inspire ‘Common People’) and seems to have influences from NYC pop art legend Keith Haring and Czech animator Jan Svankmajer.
All of which is a good excuse to include a clip from Svankmajer’s ‘Alice in Wonderland’ video, which you can watch below.
