We at The Quietus are big fans of Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe, aka The Pet Shop Boys, so we’re pleased to reveal that they’ll be releasing the music for their ballet The Most Incredible Thing later this year.
The album, which is performed by Pet Shop Boys and the Wrocław Score Orchestra and conducted by Dominic Wheeler will be released on March 14.
Messrs Tennant and Lowe said: "This is a very exciting project to be part of. In the past we have written dance music so to write music for a ballet seems like a logical development. Also we have always been fascinated by giving our music a theatrical context."
