Esben And The Witch Debut Single & UK Tour

Exciting times!

Quietus favourites Esben & The Witch have announced details of a debut single and UK tour for 2010.

The Brighton-based three-piece will release ‘Lucia, At The Precipice’ with the B-side ‘They Use Smiles To Bury You’ as a 7" on February 8th next year. They previously told The Quietus that the song is about James Joyce’s daughter, who was treated by Sigmund Freud.

Esben will also be playing a number of live shows, including a date organised by The Quietus at Madame JoJos on January 5 next year.

The dates are as follows:

December 16 – Cargo, London

January 10 – Madame JoJos, London

February 5 – Hobby Horse, London

February 7 – The Prince Albert, Brighton

February 10 – The Harley, Sheffield

February 11 – The Deaf Institute, Manchester

February 12 – Library, Lancaster

February 13 – The Jericho, Oxford
