BEAK> Debut Album Details

First record from Portishead man's project

BEAK> have released details about their forthcoming debut album.

The band, which was formed by Portishead producer and instrumentalist Geoff Barrow, Billy Fuller and Matt Williams, will release the self-titled record on October 19.

The album was recorded live in one room with no overdubs or repair, with all the tracks written over a 12 day session. Speaking about the project, Barrow said: "It’s really good to create music under different conditions than your used to.”

A limited edition box set version of the album will be available from September direct from the Invada website. Inside a specially designed black BEAK> box will be a CD version of the album, a limited edition CD EP, 12” vinyl with 2 bonus tracks and a T Shirt.
