New Weird Britain 2: Guttersnipe, Aja & Richard Dawson

tQ (and Supernormal and Supersonic and New River Studios and Islington Mill etc.)-inspired BBC radio series continues today

The Radio 4 series New Weird Britain continues today with Episode 2, exploring the high roads and byroads of Northern post industrial Britain.

tQ Editor John Doran hits the north to meet Sophie Cooper, Nwando Ebizie, Aja, Richard Dawson and Guttersnipe and attempts to answer the question: why do we find music and art weird?

The programme was produced by Alannah Chance for Reduced Listening. So far, Doran has managed to cram a mention of The Fall into both episodes of the series… how long will he get away with this until someone notices?

You can listen to Episode 2 (and Episode 1) here.
