Having recently announced details of their second album, Whale City, due out in June, Warmduscher have shared a video for ‘Standing On The Corner’, the second track to be unveiled from the LP. You can watch it above.
The video, directed by Niall Trask, follows a two-headed newborn baby flying through the skies on a mass of balloons, amongst other scenes.
"Do you hear a familiar sound ladies and gentlemen? Do you feel that rumbling beneath the earth? I certainly do," says the group’s Dr. Alan Goldfarb. "Let it be known that Warmduscher’s second single ‘Standing On The Corner’ is out and running rampant before your very eyes. Drop to your knees and bound forth, around the corner, into the withered confines, below tectonic plates."
Warmduscher frontman Clams Baker meanwhile describes the upcoming album as "a playground for the people that have stepped above and beyond their comfort zone".
Whale City is out on June 1 via The Leaf Label, and will be available in digital, CD and vinyl formats, including a limited edition vinyl package featuring postcards and zines.
