Long-time Quietus favourite politicised Australian post-punk-inspired group New War are back with a new album, we’re pleased to report. Their new track ‘Get In The Boot’ can be heard above, a hectic, buzzing, propulsive banger that fits the group’s mission of "rhythm & detonation". The video was shot in an abandoned water treatment plant. We last heard from New War via their debut album, released back in 2013 (our review here and stunning sets at ATP. The tell us that the new LP Coin, forthcoming on Australian IT Records, "is a more immediate sister to the debut, spilling out in new directions while keeping the essence of the group intact".
