After coming to our attention with a highly political take on discordant and angular post punk, brilliant Australia-based group New War recently returned with a surprising new direction: a live album recorded on the giant pipe organ at Melbourne Town Hall. If you can imagine a dub-influenced Suicide leading the music at an old-school church service, then that gives you a bit of an idea of how good this is – read the Quietus review here.
