Afghan Whigs will release a new album, entitled In Spades, this May, via Sub Pop. Above, you can check out a video for lead single ‘Demon In Profile’.
The album is the follow-up to the band’s 2014 album, Do To The Beast which marked their first studio album release in over a decade and a half.
"It’s a spooky record," says frontman Greg Dulli. "I like that it’s veiled. It’s not a concept album per se, but as I began to assemble it, I saw an arc and followed it. To me it’s about memory – in particular, how quickly life and memory can blur together."
The album is out on May 5 and the band will tour Europe across May and June in support of its release, taking in a run of dates in Manchester, Glasgow, Dublin and London from May 26-30.
