Burning the Threshold is the new album from Six Organs Of Admittance set for release later this month, and above we are streaming second single ‘Threshold Of Light’, the first taste of the album.
Six Organs Of Admittance is the project of guitarist Ben Chasny, and on ‘Threshold Of Light’, he’s taken inspiration from the works of philosophers Algis Uzdavinys and Aaron Cheak, looking to themes such as ancient myths and alchemy and making a sly nod back to previous track, ‘S/Word and Leviathan’ which featured on his Asleep On The Floodplain album.
Burning the Threshold is set for release on February 24, via Drag City, and will be launched at London’s St. Pancras Old Church on February 22. You can get tickets for that here.
