Part Chimp have shared a second track from their upcoming album, Iv.
Entitled ‘MapoLeon’, it’s a crushing three minutes of heavy guitars and vocals buried deep in the mix, and can be heard above. This new album follows on from an extended hiatus marking their first album release since 2009’s Thriller. The album was recorded over the course of one weekend early last year at a studio in North Norfolk, with further work carried out on the album in the wake of that recording session.
‘MapoLeon’ follows album opener ‘Namekuji’ which the band streamed last month. The album is out on April 14, via Rock Action, and the band will tour the UK through April taking in dates in Cambridge, Leeds, Glasgow, London and more. Details on that tour can be found here.
