Marie Davidson has announced a new album titled Working Class Woman.
Her first for Ninja Tune, the album is preceded by the single ‘So Right’, which you can stream above.
Working Class Woman is billed as a "document of [Davidson’s] state of mind, of operating within the spheres of dance music and club culture".
Speaking about the album, she says: "It comes from my brain, through my own experiences: the suffering and the humour, the fun and the darkness to be Marie Davidson. It’s an egotistical album – and I’m okay with that."
Working Class Woman is set for release on October 5 and can be pre-ordered here. Marie Davidson will tour Europe through October and November, including shows at London’s Electrowerkz (October 4), Manchester’s Mayfield Depot (November 10) and Colston Hall in Bristol (November 16).
