New Heavy Music Festival, Monochrome, To Debut In Bristol

Taking place primarily at the city's Strange Brew venue in April, the "festival of ugly music" will take in sets from Aluk Todolo, Guttersnipe and more

Bristol is getting a new grassroots music festival, Monochrome, which is dedicated to heavier sounds.

Launching on April 5 with a warm-up event at The Cube Microplex, the bulk of the programming will be spread across the two rooms of the Strange Brew venue the following day. The self-described "festival of ugly music" will take in sets from Aluk Todolo, Guttersnipe (pictured above), Gnaw Their Tongues, Vacuous, Cuntroaches and Cavalerie, among others. An afterparty event will follow at Bristol’s The Gryphon, with tickets to attend both the main event and afterparty priced at £35.

Monochrome will take place from April 5 to 6, 2024. Find more information here.
