LISTEN: New Harvestman Single

Neurosis vocalist and guitarist readies his fourth solo album

With Harvestman soon set to release their fourth album via Neurot Recordings, above we have a first listen of the album’s opening track, ‘The Forest Is Our Temple’.

Harvestman is the solo project of Neurosis vocalist and guitarist Steve Von Till. The track above is a trip, paganistic drums stretching out across its seven-minute length underneath drone-like guitars creating a deeply immersive listen.

‘The Forest Is Our Temple’ is taken from new album Music For Megaliths which, as with previous releases, sees Von Till taking up a number of musical roles on the album, including vocals, electric and acoustic guitars, bass, synthesizers, hurdy gurdy, effects and more. The album also sees Von Till call upon Neurosis’ Jason Roeder to provide drums for one of the tracks.

The album was recorded across a period of several years, ultimately creating the seven tracks that make up the final result. Music For Megaliths is out on May 19 and you can pre-order it here.
