New Book on Aphex Twin to be Published this Autumn

The work of music magazine Disco Pogo, it compiles exclusive interviews, as well as essays and other material

A new book on Aphex Twin is to be published later this year.

The 250-page book, Aphex Twin: A Disco Pogo Tribute, features exclusive interviews and essays about the UK artist, real name Richard D. James. It takes in contributions from various music journalists and experts, and was compiled by Jim Butler, the editor of music magazine Disco Pogo.

Images from throughout James’ career are included inside, and Paul Nicholson, designer of the iconic Aphex Twin logo, opened up his archives to assist with the compilation of the book. Warp Records and Rephlex, labels with longstanding connections to James, also contributed to its creation.

This is the second such deep-dive to emerge from Disco Pogo after the music magazine published a book focused on Daft Punk last year.

The Aphex Twin book can be pre-ordered here.

Disco Pogo will publish Aphex Twin: A Disco Pogo Tribute on October 30, 2024.
