New Bob Mould Album Due In October

Tenth solo album from former Hüsker Dü man, Silver Age, set for release on October 1

Bob Mould, formerly of Hüsker Dü and mainstay of the American alternative scene, is set to release Silver Age, his tenth solo album on October 1 via Edsel. Sonically, it’s described as being closer to his first band than the more subdued tone of his last album, 2009’s Life and Times. Says Mr Mould: “I’d been batting around the idea of another aggressive pop record for some time, especially as the 20th anniversary of Copper Blue kept getting closer."

Here’s the tracklisting:

‘Star Machine’

‘Silver Age’

‘The Descent’

‘Briefest Moment’

‘Steam of Hercules’

‘Fugue State’

‘Round the City Square’

‘Angels Rearrange’

‘Keep Believing’

‘First Time Joy’

Bob’s playing a string of European festivals this summer – head to his website for more details.
