Noise rockers Årabrot have a new EP, ‘Mæsscr’ (artwork above), out on 31 August via Fysisk Format. Have a listen via Spotify here:
The EP is, characteristically, “a composition dedicated to human misery” and contains three new original cuts, as well as reworkings of Lee Hazlewood’s ‘Poor Man’ and Death in June’s ‘The Honour of Silence’ and ‘Kukuku’.
The band are also playing a short run of shows this month, beginning with two support dates for Norwegian metallers Kvelertak at the Borderline in London:
AUGUST
Thu 16 – Borderline, London
Fri 17 – Borderline, London
Sat 25 – Fat Out Fest, Manchester
Sun 26 The Shakespear, Sheffield
Tue 28 Colchester Arts Centre, Colchester
Wed 29 The Black Heart, London
‘Mæsscr’s one of a host of new releases on the way from Fysisk Format, the record label run by Norwegian independent record store Tiger, including Aristillus’ Two and new singles from Haraball and The Good the Bad & the Zugly – for more, head to the Tiger site here.
