Neil Young & Crazy Horse Detail New Album, ‘World Record’

The album is said to explore the state of Earth, as well as its precarious future

Neil Young & Crazy Horse will release a new album before the end of the year.

Titled World Record, it was produced by Young together with Rick Rubin at the latter’s Shangri-La studio in Malibu. The new album, according to press materials, explores the state of Earth and its uncertain future, among other subjects. You can watch a video for lead track ‘Love Earth’ above.

The album’s release will follow the July first-time issue of an album by Young & Crazy Horse, called Toast, that dated back to 2001. Plans for the album’s release at the time were shelved after Young decided it was too "sad."

Reprise will release World Record on November 18, 2022.
