Friend of the Quietus Robin Turner tells us that the NCS are looking to find some new bands – he says:
"NCS (National Citizen Service) is looking for up and coming bands to help out with a project taking place this July in Blackpool and Newcastle. It would involve playing a couple of songs acoustically and a few electrically in a proper local venue to a crowd of up-for-it punters.
The dates are: Blackpool on July 6 and Newcastle on July 8.
Timings are from 10am for quick interview and acoustic performance on the NCS bus (so must be minimal inputs, etc.) and then potentially full band performance that evening, all over by 7.30 pm.
