Nadine Shah has released a new track called ‘Trad’.
It’s the second song to be revealed from Shah’s next album, Kitchen Sink, which she announced in February alongside lead track ‘Ladies For Babies (Goats For Love)’. ‘Trad’ sees Shah ruminating on rejecting the traditions of marriage and family and yet still longing for them.
More widely, Kitchen Sink sees the artist address societal expectations of women in their 30s and 40s, and is based around her own experience as well as her conversations with a number of other women.
Infectious Music will release Kitchen Sink on June 5.
