Nadine Shah has released the title track for her new album, Holiday Destination out August 25. Listen above.

The song is the last of the album’s singles, which also include music videos for ‘Yes Men’ and ‘Out The Way’.

The album is mostly politically motivated, with ‘Holiday Destination’’s refrain, “how you gonna sleep tonight?” in response to, as Shah says: “this really harrowing news piece about migrants and refugees arriving on the shores of Kos in Greece by the thousands. There were some holidaymakers being interviewed and they were talking about how the situation was ruining their holiday”.

Through the track and album Shah is thus able to question the “hate fuelled rhetoric” currently crossing the globe in an entertaining, artistic, and captivating way.

Shah is also performing several shows in support of the album, with tickets on sale now. The dates are as follows:
