tQ has had a lot of love for MY DISCO over the years, following their trajectory that, while it varies in pugilism, never drops in intensity.
Following the release of their sixth album, Alter Schwede, late last year, they’ve now unveiled a video for album track ‘Third Place’, which you can watch above. Our review of the album praised the record thusly: "MY DISCO have pulled the whole house down. And like their neighbours Liars, what they’ve rebuilt is altogether more interesting than what was there before. Nearly twenty years in, MY DISCO are making the most fascinating music of their career."
Alongside the new video, the band have revealed plans for a tour of the UK and Europe this autumn, with support from Nadja and Samuel Kerridge, the latter of whom will join the tour for a closing two-date UK run that will take in dates at Manchester’s The White Hotel and London’s Cafe OTO.
