This weekend saw My Bloody Valentine play their first live shows in five years and on Saturday night, during a set as part of the Robert Smith-curated Meltdown festival at London’s Royal Festival Hall, they debuted an untitled new track.
You can check out footage of that track via a fan recording above. The track was listed as ‘New Song 1’ on the setlist, which also saw them play material from Loveless, m b v, Isn’t Anything and Tremolo.
The band are expected to release new music later this year with frontman Kevin Shields having spoken of an upcoming "sprawling EP" from the group having previously said that they were working on a new album. The band also released all-analog versions of their first two albums, Isn’t Anything and Loveless earlier this year.
The band will next play Roskilde festival on June 30 before heading on a US tour through July.
