Manchester’s MOTHER are currently putting the finishing touches to their debut album entitled God Like Splash.
Due in October, the album will see the band finally laying down the part-psych, part-pop sound they’ve been displaying at gigs and festivals over the last couple of years into a full-length record.
The album’s lead track, ‘You’re Not Like Him’, is a belter, which couples the band’s eye for pop hooks with stratospheric crescendos and grand riffs, and you can watch its video, premiering via tQ, above.
MOTHER have gradually built acclaim over the last year or so since picking up attention at festivals such as Sounds From The Other City, going on to support the likes of Anna Meredith, Micachu And The Shapes, Jenny Hval and more.
