Next year, Morgan Visconti, son of Tony, David Bowie’s producer, will be releasing a solo album, Ride. He’s so far trailed it with the record’s first single ‘Can’t Say Goodbye’ (watch the video at the foot of the piece), which will be out on January 27 via human label, and we’ve got a first play of one of the remixes featured on the release, from London-based artist and sound engineer Fern Oxley, aka Shengi. She pulls the cut apart, amping up the 80s pomp of the drums, under which a juddering bass line pins down Visconti’s vocals, aerated and transformed into spacey cycles – have a listen below:
