With Helena Hauff’s new album due out in a couple of weeks, two more tracks from the record have now been released. You can listen to ‘Hyper-Intelligent Genetically Enriched Cyborg’ and ‘It Was All Fields Around Here When I Was A Kid’ above.
The two tracks folllow on from previous double-single Qualm / No Qualms which was released last month. The new single is a continuation of the machine-driven techno of past releases, with ‘Hyper-Intelligent Genetically Enriched Cyborg’ centring around lo-fi 303 acid and ‘It Was All Fields Around Here When I Was A Kid’ guided by retro synths.
Ninja Tune will release Hauff’s new album, entitled Qualm, on August 3. It can be pre-ordered here. The tracks above follow on from a short film shared also titled Qualm which was shared last week by the label.
Helena Hauff will play Amsterdam’s Dekmantel festival on August 5, as well as London’s E1 on August 10 and Houghton festival on August 12.
