More Names For Le Guess Who?

Mikal Cronin, A Place To Bury Strangers and Lighting Bolt among those newly added to the line-up for the Utrecht festival

A second influx of acts have been named for Le Guess Who? 2015 including Mikal Cronin debuting his his show Mikal Cronin with Strings & Horns.

Kamasi Washington, Tout-Puissant Orchestre Poly-Rythmo de Cotonou, Josh T. Pearson, A Place To Bury Strangers, Lightning Bolt, METZ, Viet Cong, Suuns & Jerusalem In My Heart, Protomartyr, Songhoy Blues, Baba Commandant & The Mandingo Band and The Space Lady also join the line-up today.

The dutch festival has further announced that this year’s edition of the weekender will feature a programme of Turkish artists with special performances by percussionist Okay Temiz with La Fanfare Du Belgistan, painter-turned-songwriter Gaye Su Akyol, and Mustafa Özkent ve Belçika Orkestrasɪ who will be performing his 1973 album Gençlik İle Elele live for the first time in 40 years. Also performing at the festival and previously announced are Deerhunter, Faust and Destroyer among others, as well as a four-day programme curated by Sunn O))).
