Moog Launches New Polysynth

A new video featuring Ryuichi Sakamoto, Dev Hynes, Suzanne Ciani and more offers a first look at the new Moog One

With the Moog One, the company’s first analogue polysynth in over 30 years, soon set to launch, a new video featuring the likes of Ryuichi Sakamoto, Dev Hynes and Suzanne Ciani testing the machine has been shared.

You can watch the 20-minute video above, in which various musicians demonstrate some of the new polysynth’s features and show how they would use the machine. Also featured are Mark Ronson, Robert Glasper, DEVO’s Mark Mothersbaugh and producer Mike Dean.

The Moog One was announced earlier this month as a successor to the discontinued Memorymoog which the company produced from 1982-1985. You can find more information on the new synth via a Sweetwater blogpost here.
