Mogwai have remixed Glaswegian group The Ninth Wave’s track ‘I’m Only Going To Hurt You’.
The remix kicks off a new run of remixes of tracks from The Ninth Wave’s recent Faris Badwan-produced Happy Days! EP, with Mogwai giving the original track’s gothic synth-pop tones a more restrained motorik makeover. You can listen to the remix above.
Mogwai’s remix for The Ninth Wave follows on from the former releasing their soundtrack for drama series ZeroZeroZero via Bandcamp earlier this year.
Distiller Records will release Happy Days! Remix EP on November 13, 2020.
