Moderat Detail First Album In Six Years, ‘MORE D4TA’

Modeselektor and Apparat's collaborative project had been on hiatus since 2017

Moderat, the collaborative project of Modeselektor and Apparat, have shared details of their first album in six years.

Spanning 10 tracks, MORE D4TA follows 2016’s III and features the first new material to emerge from the trio since they went on hiatus in 2017. They worked on the record over the course of lockdown, with the album said to touch on subjects such as information overload and isolation. Above, you can listen to lead cut ‘FAST LAND’.

The album’s announcement comes off the back of confirmation of a return to live touring for the trio, with appearances at festivals such as Sónar and Rock Werchter lined up for the summer, alongside a tour of Europe and North America later in the year.

Monkeytown will release MORE D4TA on May 13, 2022.
