Mike Paradinas Shares Lost Material

Planet Mu head follows in Aphex Twin's footsteps with a mass SoundCloud dump of old material dating back to 1982

Planet Mu head Mike Paradinas, otherwise known as µ-ZIQ, is currently in the midst of a mass hard-drive dump, much like that of Aphex Twin a few weeks ago, sharing productions dating back as early as 1982, via his SoundCloud page here.

The uploads began six days ago with a full album, previously unavailable until now, under the name of Short Circuit. The album is entitled Life In Style and was produced alongside Caspar Cox – it comes with a handy note reading “recorded (badly) in early 1982 in Richmond Rd.” You can check out that playlist in the embed above. There have been 17 uploads today alone at time of writing and free downloads are available of all 102 tracks that Paradinas has uploaded thus far. The uploads include an edit of Aphex Twin’s ‘Analogue Bubblebath’, which he says he sent to Richard D. James after being “blown away” by the EP – you can listen to that below.
