Midland Reveals Debut Solo Album, ‘Fragments Of Us’

The record, the UK DJ and producer said, is a "celebration of the gift of otherness"

British DJ and producer Midland has shared details of his debut solo album, Fragments Of Us.

Set to be released his own Graded label, the 13-track album centres the voices of a number of the producer’s personal artistic heroes, including filmmaker and educator Marlon Riggs and Luke Howard of DJ collective Horse Meat Disco. The cover art, meanwhile, is a photo taken his brother, Dom.

In a statement about the release, Midland, real name Harry Agius, said: “Fragments Of Us is at its core my homage to and celebration of the gift of otherness and the spaces and voices that have helped along the way.”

He’s shared lead track ‘Never Enough’, which features his own vocoder-infused vocals, to mark the album’s announcement. You can listen to the song below.

Graded will release Fragments Of Us on October 4, 2024.
