Listen Back To Michael Imperioli’s NTS Radio Show

The US actor, best known for playing Christopher Moltisanti in 'The Sopranos', played music from Charles Mingus, Cat Power and more

If you were glued to Twitter yesterday, you might have noticed a lot of excitement around the NTS Radio debut of US actor Michael Imperioli, who presented a one-hour show of music inspired by A Streetcar Named Desire.

That show has now been archived by NTS, and features the actor, best known for playing The Sopranos‘ Christopher Moltisanti, playing music by the likes of Charles Mingus, Lou Reed, Richard Hell, and Cat Power, amongst others. NTS reached out to Imperioli on a whim after he shared an Instagram post last month about My Bloody Valentine’s Loveless. You can listen back to the one-off show, dubbed ‘632 ELYSIAN FIELDS’, here.

NTS recently confirmed a number of new residents are joining the station for a series of radio shows, including Haruomi Hosono, black midi, Erol Alkan, and upsammy. A new subscription scheme was also recently launched, encouraging listeners to help fund the independent station.
