M.I.A is set to publish a 192-page hardback book this October that will document her career so far, reports Pitchfork (via OkayPlayer). The book, set to be published by Rizzoli, will gather together more than 300 images and unpublished writings from Maya Arulpragasam herself, in order to cover her entire history as an artist/musician/shouty Twitter resident.
Given the sort of books that Rizzoli tend to publish, we can probably expect it to be large, weighty and coffee table in nature. Though from where we’re sitting it’s tough to imagine many people being happy with its splattery artwork gracing their living rooms (it’s almost as bad as the offensively ugly front cover of her last album).
