Merbow and Lawrence English have shared details of a new collaborative album, called Eternal Stalker.
Spanning seven tracks, the album is the two artists’ first official collaboration on record and will be released through Dais Records. The project, a press release explains, was "spawned by field recordings made in a sprawling factory complex seven hours north of English’s home in Brisbane," and Merzbow, AKA Masami Akita, describes early drafts of the music featured on the album as "the soundtrack to a dystopian science fiction opera." Dais Records will release Eternal Stalker on June 3, 2022.
