Later this month, Melting Hand will release their second album, Faces of Earth, and ahead of that, you can stream it exclusively above in full.
The album follows on from 2016’s Highcollider, and is the first record to feature the band’s new line-up without Terminal Cheesecake’s Russell Smith and with new members Marion Andrau on guitar and Wayne Adams on synths.
Faces of Earth shifts the focus slightly, but not completely, away from the guitars of the band’s debut. Featured on the album is a cover of jazz great Joe Henderson’s collaboration with Alice Coltrane, ‘Earth’. Guests such as Lower Slaughter’s Sinead Young and Johnny Halifax also join proceedings to contribute parts of the record.
The album will be released via Hominid Sounds on September 22. To pre-order, head here while you can check their set from July’s Woodland Gathering in full here.
