Meatraffle have shared a new video for ”Ndrangheta Allotment’, which you can watch above premiering exclusively with us here at tQ.
Directed by Niall Trask and produced by Margo Broom of Hermitage Works Studios, Meatraffle draw inspiration from the ‘Nragheta Mafia, one of Southern Italy’s most powerful crime syndicates.
The video, which you can watch above, finds sinister undertones beneath the pleasant veneer of an old man and his allotment, with high stakes drug deals, extortion and more.
You can also stream the instrumental, a decidedly gritty turn from the band, via Spotify below. It’s released via Drastic Decline and will form part of the group’s ‘third’ album. They say they’re skipping their second album in order to avoid ‘difficult second album’ syndrome.
Meatraffle are playing two more live dates to round off 2017, at Leeds’ Headrow House on December 9 with Madonnatron, and in London on December 14 at Shacklewell Arms.
