Mazzy Star Announce New Album

Listen to California from new LP Seasons Of The Day below

Californian duo Mazzy Star have announced their first new album in 17 years, Seasons Of Your Day, will be released on September 24 via Rhymes Of An Hour Records, run by the band’s David Roback and Hope Sandoval – have a listen to the first track to be taken from it, ‘California’, above.

It’s their fourth album in total, following 1996’s Among My Swan, as well as the one-off single ‘Common Burn’/’Lay Myself Down’ they released on their label in 2011, and features guest appearances from My Bloody Valentine’s Colm O’Ciosoig (who’s previously collaborated with Sandoval in her band the Warm Inventions) on drums and the late Bert Jansch on guitar.

They are set to play U.S. and European tours in support of the album – stay tuned to the site for further updates on the shows.
